born in England David moved to the USA 12.18.2.16.11 (July 4 1976) and settled in Los Angeles where his involvement in the Hollywood punk scene led to the formation of Artrouble known for many iconic punk record covers and as art director for Bomp Records.
Moving to New York in 1980 he worked as a graphic designer at the trend setting Soho News until it's close and as art director for The New York Rocker, Craft International, The East Village Eye and High Times Magazine.

After a hiatus of 10 years and an extended visit to Meso-America in 2010 David began this new series of 9 paintings to explore and celebrate the ending of the current cycle of time on the December Solstice 2012 as calculated by the calendric system of the ancient Maya civilization.
